The causes of most computer problems encountered by home users are malicious software and viruses. Crash Computers recommends the following security software to help protect your computer.
If a PC or Laptop will not turn on at all then it is worth trying. To power cycle your computer, disconnect it from the mains, and remove the battery if you have a laptop, then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. This will allow any residual charge to dissipate. Then reconnect the mains, and re-insert the battery if you have a laptop, and power up your computer.
To repair any software issues you first need to know what is causing the problem. This is relatively easy on a Linux System as there are a number of logs which you can view that give detailed information, but on a Microsoft Windows system it can be difficult. There are logs but the information given is somewhat limited. You are looking for an error code typically represented in the format 0x00000000. You can then use google search to find and retrieve more information about the fault on your PC.
Crash Computers offers a complete technical support service to repair and maintain your home or office equipment.

Using software it is possible for an engineer to connect to your computer remotely without the need for a site visit. The software does not install on your Windows PC and only works until you close the application, providing security and peace of mind that the connection is closed and cannot be abused by would be 'hackers'.
You can download the software by clicking the appropriate link.
NB: For non-business clients Remote Assistance is paid in advance via PayPal, a fixed fee of £50 per device. Only a few ISP's, such as TalkTalk broadband filter internet traffic and block remote applications by default. These blocks will need to be removed. If you are unsure then please contact us first as we can assist you in removing these blocks and ensure a connection is possible before you proceed with any payment.
